  • Science has acknowledge that we only use about 3% of our mind on the conscious level, and only about 10% of the brain activity at any one time.  Therefore, 97% of our mind in the subconscious is like a huge computer.

First Session

 

Are you feeling nervous?

 

There is no need to fear.  Your Clinical Hypnotherapist and Counsellor at Sydney CBD Hypnosis  will listen to you, ask questions, discuss your emotional situation  to take an extensive case history and assess what methods of therapy is going to be the most beneficial for you. This creates an individual treatment in order for you to achieve your desired goals in the most effective and efficient way.

 

There is nothing specific you need to prepare for your first session.  You are welcome to bring along notes to remember all the salient points. The therapist is trained to draw all the information necessary from a friendly and relaxed conversation with you.

 

You will be guided into a wonderfully relaxed state. Various techniques may be applied and you will be brought out calmly, easily and comfortably. Clients enjoy hypnosis so much that they want to stay relaxed and peaceful.

 

In the event that more in-depth information is required to facilitate long-lasting results, it will be discussed with you.  Sometimes the session does not include hypnosis on the first session.

 

Follow up Sessions

 

Do I need further sessions?

 

If you need more than one session, following discussion to assess outcomes from the last session and/or possible new things that have arisen, you are guided once again into hypnosis.  Various therapeutic techniques may be applied to reach the desired goals.

Hypnosis is an acute state of relaxation. The Therapist’s role is to guide the client’s awareness, through that state, into the part of the subconscious mind where change can take place. The client accepts responsibility for his or her own recovery through allowing this hypnotic state to commit to the process.  Sometimes people don’t realize they are under such deep a trance because in some instances the therapist asks them questions which they are able to reply to.

 

Hypnotherapy is relatively quick in comparison to other forms of therapies, as it is able to access your subconscious mind and bring about effective permanent emotional and physical healing.
